Questions About The Process?

While we thoroughly understand how our installation process works, we understand that you may still have questions or concerns! You can contact us with any questions you have through the number below or through our About Us page!

The Installation Process

Installing a new roof is a step by step process that is closely regulated by our experts to ensure your new roof is installed properly, safely, and up to codes. A proper roof system reduces the risk of future problems such as leaks or damage. Below is a brief explanation of our installation process and how it works!

1. Evaluation

An evaluation prior to installing a fresh roof is a very important step to take. Before our professionals begin working on your roof, we must discuss the roofing system to be installed, building codes to follow, and the look and feel you want for your new roof. Once a system has been chosen and all materials are prepared, we will begin by evaluating the roof we are working with. Important measures such as shingle count or material amount are taken to ensure an excess of material is not wasted. Other factors such as roof flashing and any components such as chimneys and skylights play roles in the how the roof will be layered and installed. Once a full analysis of the roof is complete, our professionals can begin the building process!

2. Precautionary Measures

To ensure your building stays safe through the roof installation process, precautionary measures must be taken to protect your building. Depending on the building being worked with, measures such as a large tarp being draped across the walls can be installed to prevent any damage from occurring. Any possible measures will be taken to prevent any damage from happening!

3. Installation

This step is a majority of the roof installation process. Our experts can begin by installing the pipe collar and flashing as an underlying layer to prevent leaks. Miscellaneous flashing may also be installed on components such as a chimney or skylight. Once all flashing and pipe collars are installed, the roof will be thoroughly cleaned and all roofing boards are secure to prepare for the top layer.

Shingle/System Installation

Our experts will estimate the shingle/system amount needed for the roof, and may split roofing bundles across the roof for efficiency during installation. Once prepared, the system will start being installed on the roof, following a close and uniform pattern depending on the system being installed. During this step, finishing pieces of the roofing system may be cut and fitted to ensure a perfect fit across the entire roof. In the case that a roof requires ridge shingles, this will be the final step, as they are carefully bent and shaped to fit the final layers of the roof. When the roof is completed, a finishing cleaning will take place and your roof is almost ready to go!

4. Finishing Inspection

A final inspection by our professionals is key to ensure every piece of your roof was installed correctly. All ridge vents, flashing, and pipe collars are ensured to have remained secure through the process. An overall inspection afterwards ensures that your roof is complete and ready to perform!
